The
Cindy Riediger Masters Skating Award In memory of our fellow adult skater and friend, the Grassroots Skaters' Foundation has created the Cindy Riediger Masters Skating Award. Cindy believed strongly in the Skate Canada test system and continually pushed herself to achieve higher levels of tests. In keeping with her philosophy, this annual award will be given to adult skaters who have passed a complete level of a Skate Canada test in any discipline. Of these annual recipients, one skater will receive special distinction with $250 in Grassroots Skaters' Foundation credits and a bottle of wine. All successful tests and skaters will be recognized at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Grassroots Skaters' Foundation in November each year. Adult skaters or their coaches may apply for the award to the Grassroots Skaters' Foundation at any time of the year.
